What happened??

It's been months since we last updated the blog. Both of us has been tight up with work. Tonnes of it. Anyways, what has happened for the last few months.

Ermm, guess the highlight was Arissa's birthday. She turned 2 this year. Latest developments? She walks, she talks and she sings. Her favourite channel would be the 613 on Astro. Especially those from 12 am onwards which includes Elmo and Barney. She stays up in the wee hours while we were fast asleep trying to catch up hours lost in the day.

Welcome 2008

Hmm... a year with arissa just passed by. leaving behind with so many memories. Where should i start?? Since we are still in January maybe i should start with a new year wish to everyone. Happy New Year bloggers, friends, relatives and all of you. Should i say that my resolution this year would be never to missed writing in my blog again??? hahaha... (ye la tu..)

Ok.. Arissa..she can walk, she can talk, she can run but she still cannot jump, she can immitate, she can eat on her own but still cannot sleep on her own, she learns fast, she walks fast, she's imaginative, she's strong, she's brave, she's sweet but can be fierce at times, she's lovely, she's smart (very) and the list goes on and on... we are crazy about this little tiny gorgeous girl. She made us laugh, she made us fight, she made us cry, she made us proud, she made us worth living for. That's her...

We start 2008 with something new for three of us. We went to the curve to watch fireworks with debby & her erry. We enjoyed the first half of the night. We stranded in rili rili bad traffic on the second half. We spent about 3 hours just to go out from the Curve. Curse all the people there!!!! But, we had a rili good time watching the fireworks right on top of our head.

Morale of the story: Don't go out during new year's eve or you'll be cursed by the traffic!! hehehe..

Arissa's 1st Birthday Bash!! - 3rd August 2007

Hmmm... the lazy mommy is writing again. This time arround my loyal reader tak sempat marah lg or maybe she's not the loyal reader any longer sbb selalu sgt blog ni tak ber up-date..sorry Emi..
Arissa's first birthday bash... At first we decided to make it as simple as possible as Arissa just turned to be 1. Nak tiup lilin pun tak pandai lagi. But knowing Mommy, finally it turned out to be more than simple. A month before dah prepare and browse around for ballons and party shops. And Arissa loves balloon so much. So, everytime we visit balloon's shop Arissa jadi tak tentu arah kejap.
Finally we decided to honoured Lyn as the party planner. Basically she responsibled for everything including carikan cake, decorations, balloons, party packs and selecting the theme. My job pulak just give approval and Daddy pulak jd cashier. hehehe...sian Daddy.
Alhamdulillah...almost semua yg kita invite datang. And of course the gift pun tinggi melangit. We purposedly bukak hadiah lepas semua orang dah balik. Saja taknak kecoh2. That time the only guest yang ade is Intan and her family. Thanks to her daughters yang baik hati tolong kemaskan rumah yang dah macam kapal pecah.
So, wanna know what's our prezzie for our beloved daughter this year?? Hmm.. pening juga fikir but on one fine day we visited Toys r' us and Daddy saw a small car. And for that, the small pinky car belongs to Arissa now..and yup!she loves it!!

The Long Lost Friends & The Official Belonging

Again Arissa, mommy have very limited time at home and of course in the office. Grandma n Atok juz moved in to their new home. So, left the three of us..u, daddy and mommy. (Emi, if u wonder wat took me so long to update blog anak aku ni, this is the reason y) and ya! Congratulations to Emi on her first pregnancy!! Anak made in mana ni Emi?? hehe.. OK.. back to our story, the first few days after Atok n Grandma moved out, Arissa cam pelik sikit. Ye la.. normally rumah tu riuh, but now dah senyap. Arissa pulak dah pandai ketuk pintu bilik Atok.. Tapi carik2 no one inside... poor girl...

Hmm... Arissa is 10months young (hehe...) now. What's latest? She is very talkative. Only she knows what she's mambling about. At times i can only hear mamamama... or papapapa... but.. we never taught her to call us mama n papa... ???? She is hyper!!! She can climb the stairs, she can stand on me all the way from Subang to Pantai., She can eat my food!!! She always cry for my food!! Always!! She can drink from cup.. She can sip using straw.. She can reposition herself in her high chair and stand on it!!! wonder how huh?? What else?? Latest...latest... hmmm... baju baru..always.. new toys..always.. but never be her favourites.. she loves handphones, remote controls... minah gadget.. just like her daddy.. mat gadget.

As promised we went to PD again!! But this time arround the trip is accompanied by mommy's relative. We learned from mistakes so we never let Arissa to be in the pool for a longer period. Paling lama pun i think about half hour. Last visit, we had to take Arissa to hospital 2 weeks after we came back as she was suffered from a terrible caugh. And it was a dissaster to me! The doctor suggested to suck out all phlegm using the machine... I feel so sorry for her. She is so small and yet she had to undergo all the pain. From her cry and scream, I understand how pain it was. And knowingDaddy is Daddy he has no guts to see his daughter in pain...

Recent Development - 8 months old

Hmm... latest development of my beautiful princess. Few weeks back she can stand. She can pull herself up and stand steadily by chairs or walls or tables or what ever she finds she can holds to. Most of the time goyang2 sikit la.. A week before her 8 months birthday, her first tooth came out!!! No wonder she's been drooling all this while.. Rupanye gigi nak keluar dah.. Thank god it was the bottom tooth. Bukan apa, my mom said if it is the top to come out first, she will turns out to be someone who always praise herself.. If it is true...Alhamdulillah...Mudah2an Arissa tak macam tu.

The most recent development is she will smile when she sees camera.. Probably she understands when i say 'smile' or because of the flash from the camera.. hmm.... Look at the pic, U tell me...
